Working Party on Sunday 8th May 1 – 3 pm.  

We need to maintain the saplings in Jean Argles wood by 

• removing the canes and sleeves,
• clearing the area around the trees,
• various other Spring maintenance tasks.  

Please meet at the Memorial stone on Derwent Rd. at 1pm on Sunday May 8th

Wear suitable clothing and footwear, gardening gloves and any useful tools.  e.g trowels, secateurs, shears, rakes.  Children are welcome under the supervision of adults.

Previous volunteering events on the field have been very well supported. They are a simple way of proving that local people really do care about the field.

More and more people seem to be using the field now that Spring has come. Come along and do you bit to maintain and improve this vital local asset.
