We all know there have been some splendid sunsets recently but most people manage to enjoy them simply by standing up and looking West.

Unfortunately somebody decided that they needed to sit down and the benches we have provided were not good enough, so they brought their own sofa and simply left it behind when they went home. Here it is:

The Friends of Miss Whalley’s Field have already arranged for it to be removed but we know that a lot of people are very angry that anyone should treat our local green space as a suitable spot to dump their rubbish. 

Do you recognise this sofa? Do you know who owned it and might have dumped it?
